you tickle my socks

Ok, Cherissa, what can i say? Your unglam hahahhahahaha. but nice okay. =D

Incident 1 : At the library. Caught Cherissa wearing the same jacket as the person behind her.

Incident 2 : The picture below shows her pointing to the moon. Apparently she thought the moon was the sun.

Conversation went something like that...

Me: wow the moon is really round tonight hor? (pointing at the moon)

cherissa: wait! thats the moon? not the sun ? (giving me a confused look, then starts looking around, then came to realise that it was not the sun after all)

Haircut :D

Let me introduce you to my handsome friend kenneth. Well the above picture was taken before the haircut.

the final product :D

Looks different?
Why am i posting this? haha.. partially cause i am bored and i happen to find these pictures lying around in my computer:D

The days before NS

The very day before our enlistment. The most worthless $10 ben and I spent.
Before.
After.

Spent e day with cong and ben. Met leonard and josh for breakfast the very next day and woolah.. i'm in.
---------------------------------------------------------

Its 1:06 am ... in the midst of my block leave. I vividly remembered the days i had fun with my poly mates.
The days when ben was just retarded

The days when kim loong just doze the day away.

Not forgetting the rock climbing!

Kim loong, as usual, looking defeated.

Alex at his best

Not forgetting yi cong(was to lazy to blog abt this haha, usually i have no time to waste time, but since i have some time to waste, i shall waste my time here), now everytime i'm with him, there is always something stupid which is bound to happen. For this instance, we found a yellow monkey in the middle of the taka. It was quite strange as we don't remember any shop selling any yellow monkeys, so we came to e conclusion that some kid dropped it. Anyway, the yellow monkey does seem to blend with his dressing, making him look FREAKY. Apparently he isn't shy at all about carrying the yellow monkey with him and into the boutiques.

Well, shoppers were like looking at him thinking 'That dude is a WIERD FREAK!'
But cong is totally comfortable with that :D
Well , the ironic thing was that after we returned the yellow monkey to the reception @ taka (Even the receptionist was like giving him the "your a WIERD FREAK!" look). We headed back to Novena and to our surprise, there was a shop selling the very same stuffed toy we picked up. Not only that, it comes in green, red, orange, yellow and blue. :D

All the pictures above, pictures which capture the fun we had, the times we shared, the bond we had, its the pictures which captures our youth. If you could turn back time, would you? I would.

Finally POP from BMT!

VIPER COY! (the one behind)

Finally the day of POP has arrived. Many of us have waited for this day. The last day in BMT was a tiring day for many of us. We got up at 2.30am that morning, prepared our field pack for our 24 click road march. Most of us had less than 5 hours of sleep, but we were too happy, knowing that we were gonna pop that very afternoon. After we finished our 24 click many of us were really shagged and feeling exhausted. I've never felt exhaustion before in my life, pretty much an experience for me. Even the platoon's 3rd best, told me that he wanted to give up during the last 2 clicks of the 24 click. It was quite something. Anyway, after the 24 click it was not the end of the day, we had to change our uniforms and polish our boots in the outfield, which was really tiring, having the sun shining on you, sweating as you change and feeling exhausted at the same time. But I think everyone hold on, POP was just an interval away. Then our OC gave us some motivational talk afew minutes before our parade and woo la... we were in. Some soldiers were like swaying and I think a few fainted. Anyway, I think everyone is just as happy as I am, FINALLY POP!!!

The parade

My mom and I
Our parents were told to come forward to place e jockey caps for us. well, my mom wanted to have a fast game in taking a picture of me, but pretty much ended up gathering my platoon mates nearby to have a shot taken.

My mom, being the very very last person on the parade ground and probably the last person to take the picture on the parade ground.
